We meet every Monday night from 6:00-7:00pm
Adventurer Club Calendar 2016-2017
Children learn about the Bible, health and fitness, nature, and people skills.
Parents can assist with activities prepared by class teachers,teach awards, prepare games or gather materials behind the scenes.
Activities range from games & outdoor activities,to nature exploration and family camping, and to field trips and community service projects.
A six-level age-specific curriculum is used along with many specialized awards covering areas of crafts, nature, recreation, spiritual development, and home arts.
What is the “Adventurer” Club?
The Adventurer Club is a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The Adventurer Program is designed to support parents and care-givers with the challenging task of helping their children develop fully as followers of Christ in today’s world. The Goal of the Adventurer Club is to strengthen the parent-child relationship and to further the child’s spiritual, physical, mental, and social development.
Parental Support and Participation:
Parents are expected to join their children and participate in classes, outings and all other events. Children can only participate in outings if accompanied by at least one parent.
How much does it cost?
The annual fee is $20.00 per child, plus the cost of uniforms ($15-$20). Many uniform items can be used during multiple years. Payment plans can be arranged. If applicable, extra fees for Field Trips will be announced before events.
Regular Meeting Times:
Monday evenings, 6:00 to 7:00 starting in September, ending in May, except Mondays before Thanksgiving & Christmas. Field Trips and other Events will be posted on the Calendar.
